This is the heavy duty version of the Patagonia SST wading vest that is made for salt water use. I have the older version that I used in salt and fresh water. I purchased this as a back for a trip that never happened. Never worn. The one I have used was water proof for all day in the water i.e. float tube and it never leaked.
