Most carp waters now banning all types of leaders and now insisting you use rig tubing for fish safety with little chance of lifting scales of the carp when playing it. Rig tubing is also great to pin your line behind the lead to the bottom of the lake bed to prevent super wary carp that approach your baited rig form being spooked.
