Just thread your fly line up the braid and secure with the heat shrinking tubing wrap over the join. If you have trouble inserting fly line into the braid then first push a darning needle or bodkin into the end of the braid, heat the needle and as heat travels down to the braid it will lock it into its open position giving easier access.
